Good day. I am a retired Marine and just wanted to share my experience with discount tires, particularly in Jacksonville, NC where I retired. I have been using Discount Tire for a few years now and they just keep getting better. When I switched listeners to Juliette GA, I was concerned that I would not get the same level of professional help that I was getting from Robert and Chris at Discount Tire in Jacksonville NC. Garrett, Brandon, and a few other employees here at the Macon store have shown the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and still make you feel like they hear and understand you and are very responsive to your situation. In short, Discount Tire will always get every penny of my money when I need a service that they can provide for me and my family. Thank you Discount Tire for being awesome.

My car was running rough, my coworker came in and told me my tire was flat. We put air in and we could hear the air coming out ugh!!! I drove to Discount Tires in Gilbert AZ. This was the BEST customer service I have ever experienced! From the person who checked my tires to the manager. From the greeting to the job they did to my car it was amazing! They explained each step. They are friendly not all in your face trying to sell you something no its all about safety and how they can help. I appreciate everyone who is there. They got me back on the road safely. I will recommend to all my family and friends.

Winter is here in Montana. Our local store is full. However, the employees are consistent, prompt and polite, even with "demanding" customers caught off guard by the first snowfall. I have been amazed at the professionalism displayed at this store over the years and they have never let me down. If your tire change is during peak season, plan ahead for the wait, because everyone is trying to be safe on the road, just like you are. And thank you folks at Discount Tire, they're great.

I have been doing business with Discount Tire for almost 40 years and have NEVER been disappointed, but have since decided I will not go anywhere else. Just today, I walked into this store (Loop 323 Tyler) with my low tire pressure light problem except for low pressure. One of the guys ended up having to reset the sensors at no cost to me. I was expecting to find out he had a bad TPMS unit (had previously found they were all fine) and spend at least $50-$70. The people who work (and have worked) at Discount Tire have always been extremely nice. They treat their customers how they would like to be treated. Thanks to Discount Tire for always being there when I needed to replace/repair tires.
By the way, they all keep the warranty on the tires. Several years ago I had a tire on my car that ended up with a broken belt, ready to buy a new one because I had activated the full warranty. Turns out I had two tires like that and they replaced them for the cost of the tire warranty ($6 in those days). The tires were 35,000 mile tires and I had just finished those miles on these tires. The best deal I've ever done. If anyone is looking for a reliable place to buy their tires, then you can't go wrong with Discount Tire! Trust me!

I do most of my business at the branch in Lake City, FL as they seem to have the best customer service of any place I've been to. 98% of the time they will honor the warranty you get with the purchase of the tires. I had to run out my warranty multiple times to change the tires. Whether it's covered is hit or miss (depending on which CSR (customer service representative) you get). They take time to get the job done which is not always a bad thing as they take the time to compare the stats (pros/cons) of each brand of tire they have in stock and can source it for you.
The main problem I have encountered through them is that they quote a time frame and then take twice as long to do the actual work. If you go here make sure you wait at least 1-2 hours. start to finish On the other hand, the staff is very friendly, professional and clean (appearance). The office/lobby is clean and neat. I feel comfortable letting my son roam around because he is clean, spacious and there is nothing for him to get into.

I bought tires from them in December, had to fix a tire 60 days later. I had an appointment, but it still took me 2 hours to cap the tire. I had a date. What is so difficult for a tire shop when it comes to capping a tire? clowns

I own five cars and have been with Discount Tire for at least 15 years. I will never buy anything from this organization again. I was riding a motorcycle and had a rear tire that was in desperate need of air. Discount Tire refused to give me air for my tire and sent me on a very dangerous journey to try and find air elsewhere. I will never go to a place that treats their customers this way or anyone else in a time of need for something as simple as air which they have in abundance.

I purchased two tires from Discount Tire in Fredericksburg, Virginia and scheduled the installation. I live over an hour from the nearest Discount Tire, but I had previous good experiences near Richmond, Virginia, so I made the two-plus hour round trip. I wrote in the instructions that the valve stem was leaking and needed to be replaced. When I arrived and asked about the valve stem, the replacement promise was reiterated. I was told this was a normal part of tire replacement at Discount Tire. The tires were installed efficiently and I was on my way in less than an hour. The next morning the new tire was noticeably low. I looked and found that one of the two valve stems had been replaced but one had not. The leaky valve stem was NOT replaced as promised despite very specific instructions calling for its replacement.
I called and got the apology you'd expect along with promises to fix it first thing in the morning. I made sure the customer service representative on the phone was aware of the error and knew that he was making a two-hour round trip. I made another first appointment of the day to replace the valve stem and made the hour drive to the shop.
The efficiency of the store was gone. I was the first customer there at the opening, but somehow this routine replacement for a botched repair was left behind when the technicians in the bay discussed their events of the night before and left my truck unrepaired for over 45 minutes. I watched through the showroom window as my tire was removed from my truck and set aside with no repairs made as the three technicians chatted and laughed and then moved on to another car. Finally, at the 45 minute mark, I called the Discount Tire 800 number to file my claim. I then walked over to the table and pointed through the glass window at my truck that was there, waiting for the promised quick fix, while the technicians were gathered for another personal conversation. I knew it was personal because I got out and stood in the compartment door behind my truck and listened.
The manager tried to move me to another service advisor, but I made my point. The technicians scattered when the manager spoke to them and the repair was done just before the hour. I made the 1 hour drive home and went to check the air pressure. The valve stem was replaced but the valve stem cap was not installed. Easy enough to remedy, but just sloppy. I can't believe the manager didn't do the repair at the shop knowing the shop couldn't do the install right the first time.
Replacing two tires at Discount Tire required two trips and a small finishing touch (valve stem cover) done by me. Hands down, I went through over a dozen other tire stores to become a Discount Tire customer. The next day the manager called me. I thought this was a positive turn of events. I was wrong. He offered me two free tires that I didn't need. So I declined. I suggested that since he had my credit card information that he make an adjustment that he considered fair for the inconvenience and sloppy follow up.
I have been waiting for more than 10 days and no adjustments have been made. I think the manager of Discount Tire on Plank Road in Fredericksburg, Virginia feels that not following through on the promises he made the first time and then not managing the facility staff and then not making an adjustment to the bill is the right thing to do. . It's not!
Over the years, I have told many of my friends and family of my satisfaction with Discount Tire in Chester, Virginia and elsewhere. I am now on a campaign to let you know that my recent experiences with Discount Tire have changed my mind completely. There is no reason to go out of your way to spend your money at Discount Tire. The opposite is true. Go to another network that keeps its promises and values your time. Management sets the culture of the business and can have the biggest impact on customer retention. Discount Tire on Plank Road in Fredericksburg has a very poor culture of inspecting their work, making promises and breaking and failing to deliver after learning of their non-compliance.

My daughter had a tire fixed (one nail right in the center), it should have been an easy straight patch from the inside, which is what they did. Fast forward a few weeks...same flat tire and a bad tire pressure sensor so I called them ONE DAY BEFORE and made an appointment at 5:15 (opening time). 5:45 they finally take her car back to fix the leak and then she immediately goes home and they never touched the sensor. She closes at 6pm so apparently there is no time to get it right and she doesn't give a damn about the customers time. You go somewhere with a discount and you get a discounted service! I took my daughter's car while she was on leave and it has satin black bbs rims, it had a few miles on tires so we asked to keep them and put them on the car, she wanted more aggressive tires, she came home with no tires and I noticed two circular scratches big on 2 wheels on one side, they were deep and big. I called the store right away and they asked me for pictures because they were closing and they weren't supposed to come back, they sent and the daughter had to drive to the base in Co. so I called on Monday because it was Saturday.
They said I never received the email so I repeated and sent it multiple times and it went on like this, while talking to the manager about this he claimed he never received any pictures but mentioned after looking at them he said he was an employee who didn't t used the correct item to assemble. I asked him why he said he never looked at pictures, but then he said oh, I meant he probably lied. Another employee said that he will not replace the wheels which are 2k each and will sue us. Pampered military men mentioned getting discounts and complained, they were in shock after 45 years of use.
