shredding at low speed

There's so much about this truck that it's easy to love. However, we've had several trucks that squeak at low speeds (backing up or moving forward when the car is moving relatively slowly). Our first 2020 truck, we took it back and the dealer replaced it with a second 2020 truck. This truck also creaked after about 700-1000 miles. There was no solution for either and Honda wanted to "solve" the problem. They also loaned us a van, when the second one was going to be fixed and it creaked too! So keep in mind that Honda has a problem with some or all of their new 2020 Odysseys.…
General maintenance nightmare

We bought a new one from the dealership and have had problems with this car since day one. We are stuck because the amount is much less than what we owe on the loan. There are so many electrical issues I can't begin to describe them all. More recently, all of the car's warnings and alarms sounded on start-up (brake failure, engine failure, anti-skid system, power steering failure, all of them) whenever it rained. When the car started to shudder and slow down at 30 mph I had it towed only to find out the fuel injectors needed replacing (this car is 2 years old!) windshield (what?) luckily car manufacturer warranty It sold out 200 miles before that, and Honda wouldn't cover a dime. Today the passenger side sliding door stopped in the middle, no beeps, no reverse, it just stopped. My wife says "oh that's strange, it's usually the driver's side that won't close". she's so used to the problem, even though we've dealt with it 2 times already for this, that it's now dormant. At a traffic light, stopping activates the idle stop that shuts off the engine, a setting that impossibly should be turned off every time you start the car. During this, we get an engine critical failure alarm at idle when we release the brake, which pushes the car forward a bit as the engine starts, then stops and starts again. The entertainment system that should have all these great apps available with the monthly Hotspot service has been completely abandoned, the few that exist don't work. Audio settings are never saved. It's as if the manufacturer had literally never heard of memory, nothing in the car remains saved the next start. Ah, the available collision system alerts us in the rain at every traffic light that we are hitting something in the front right corner. If I could get rid of this car I would never look back. Honda really let us down on this one.…
I love this van

I bought this 2018 Odyssey Elite Van at the end of May and I love it. I waited months for the 2018 to go on sale to decide between it, the Honda Pilot or the Toyota Highlander. Boy am I glad I waited. The other vehicles were pretty good, but the Odyssey had a lot more room for passengers, golf clubs, and luggage on long trips. Ride is great, very smooth and drives like a luxury car. My fuel consumption was a combined 23.9 mpg over 6000 miles. I'm a veteran and this elite's safety features make driving a pleasure. my favorite features are the head-on collision and the blind spot. My only negative is that it takes a while to figure out the infotainment system.…
