In total, Business Platinum earns you more than $1,500 in statement credits that you can maximize. However, it is clear from the specific nature of many of these credits, and their restrictions, that some cardholders will not be able to fully utilize them.
Please note that the annual fee for the card is the sameO Platinum Card® de American Express, which also incurs an annual fee of $695 (seerates and fees).

However, one notable difference between the personal and business versions of the card involves the bonus categories. Amex Business Platinum cardholders earn 1.5 points per dollar on up to $2 million of eligible US purchases per calendar year with:
- Electronics retailers.
- Software.
- Cloud service providers.
- Building materials and hardware supplies.
- Transportation providers.
- Purchases of $5,000 or more.
