King Charles's first New Year's Honors List has been announced.
More than 1,100 people across the country will receive honors to celebrate their contributions to society, the community or their field of work.
They range from politicians, musicians and actors to senior diplomats at the forefront of the UK's response to the war in Ukraine and members of the England women's football team that won Euro 2022.

This year's honorees include Lizzie Deignan, who has an MBE for services to cycling, journalist Anne Diamond, who has an OBE for public health services and charity, Countdown star Rachel Riley, who won an MBE for her Holocaust campaign, actor Stephen Graham, who became an OBE for services to drama, and comedian Frank Skinner, who became an MBE for services to entertainment.
Four members of the England women's football team: Leah Williamson, Lucy Bronze, Beth Mead and Ellen White were also honored on the list.
Queen guitarist Brian May is among those who have been knighted.
Honors bestowed include Companions of Honor (CH), Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (GCB/KCB/CB), Order of St Michael and St George (Knight/GCMG/KCMG/DCMG/CMG), Knight and Dame (Knight /DBE), Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) and Medal of the British Empire (BEM).
This year's list, the first published since the Queen's death and the first signed by her son the King, includes a total of 1,107 recipients, 50% of whom are women.
The youngest person to be honored is Dara McAnulty, 18, of Annalong, County Down, who receives a BEM for her environmental work and her work with people with autism spectrum disorders.
And the oldest is Peter Davies, 100, from Bollington in Cheshire, who will also receive a BEM for his work as a reading volunteer at Dean Valley Community Primary School.
