Diesel Dudes is a family business in Montreal, Canada. Our mission is to serve diesel truck owners with high quality parts and software while providing excellent customer service.
If you have any questions about our products or are wondering which kit is best for your truck, please contact us.
From the very beginning, our goal has been to answer all of our customers' questions.
We get it, tuning can be complicated, and getting it wrong can damage your truck. That's why we went to great lengths to find only the best tuning options for each truck model and year, and when we couldn't find a good enough option, we made our own.
That's right, even though we are an authorized distributor for many tuning companies such as GDP and Proven Diesel, our technicians build many of our tunes in house.
So, in any case, we have in-house technical support for all our products, in case you get stuck with the installation. But our installation guides and videos should be more than enough to help you out.
Remember, if you ever have questions, just give us a call at 888-830-2588 and our team will help you!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The full wipe package(s) will permanently upgrade your truck to run without a choked factory emissions system.
This means you can permanently remove ALL emissions-related components and sensors, including:
- DPF (diesel particulate filter)
- DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) tank
- EGR system (exhaust gas recirculation)
- CAT (catalytic converters, including DOC and NOX, etc.)
This is made possible by custom wipe tunes that wipe the emissions system from your truck's computer.
All you have to do is:
Plug the receiver into your truck's OBDII port (located under the steering wheel)
Follow the bell installation instructions we sent you. (Technical support is also available).
Once the pesky emissions system has been "erased" from your truck's programming, you can proceed to remove any components that are preventing your diesel from performing at its best.
Our kit includes a DPF/CAT wiper pipe that attaches in place of the original DPF and CAT to the exhaust system.
Finally, an EGR delete kit will allow you to completely remove the original EGR system, close off the vents, and reroute the exhaust gases to exit the pipes.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
The package includes:
1) Mini Maxx V2 Delete Tuner and all necessary accessories
2) 4" DPF & CAT Delete Pipe Rust Resistant
3) Complete EGR Bleeding Kit
Additional 5" full exhaust upgrade. Aluminized steel from P1 racing pipes.
Additional muffler system.
ADVANTAGES
By erasing the factory emissions system that chokes your diesel, you'll immediately notice a night and day difference. It will perform better in every way imaginable, including speed, fuel economy (a 5 mpg increase on average) and fewer trips to the auto shop.
Over time, the kit pays for itself in fuel savings alone. That doesn't take into account how many expensive trips to the dealer you'll save.
The final benefit is the peace of mind knowing that your truck no longer has a ticking time bomb attached.
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Don't know technology? Nervous about software or potentially frying your truck? Do not worry! We send you step-by-step instructions with every purchase. Further technical support is also available in case of problems.
The good news is that our receivers also come pre-installed with your tune to delete, just plug it into your truck's OBDII port and follow our instructions to install your tune.
And yes, if you run into any technical issues, we've got your back. You can contact us at any time and we will solve any problems you have.
To install the DPF wiper tube, you'll need basic tools that you probably already have (things like wrenches, ratchets, etc.). No welding required. Installed using screws and clamps (supplied).
All parts of the EGR delete kit are also bolted together, no welding required. We will also email you installation videos for these parts.
If you're a total outdoorsman when it comes to working on your truck, we highly recommend hiring a shop to do the installation for you.

It's so hard to get answers and deal with the minor issues I have. No owner Manuel comes with mini max. There is no detailed information. They sent me an old YouTube video that I found before I even bought it. I have the mini max 2 version and there is no information about it anywhere. I have no idea what the settings should be. Questions are only answered via email, so you may never get a legitimate answer. I'm not happy right now.

FAQs
What all do I need to delete my 6.7 Powerstroke? ›
First, you need to install a tuner or programmer on your truck. This will allow you to disable the pollution control devices without causing any damage to the engine. Next, you need to install a DPF delete kit and an EGR delete kit.
Does deleting a 6.7 Powerstroke add horsepower? ›"A 6.7 Powerstroke EGR delete pipe can recover up to 20% more horsepower and torque than stock Ford 6.7 diesel truck parts. Using the turbo kit will result in better acceleration and an overall improvement in fuel economy as well.
Is deleting the 6.7 Powerstroke worth it? ›Yes, it does. An EGR delete can be beneficial in many ways. However, one of the major ways it is great for your vehicle is that it improves the fuel economy, increases horsepower, and gives you better mileage. These are all benefits that arise from getting optimized engine performance.
How many MPG does a deleted 6.7 Powerstroke get? ›The 6.7 Powerstroke can provide you with 30 MPG on the highway and 22 MPG in the city. Combined, the engine has a fuel mileage of about 25 MPG.
How much HP does deleting a diesel add? ›In many cases, a proper DPF delete will result in gaining over 100 horsepower while improving your fuel mileage and the lifetime of your vehicle.
Does deleting a diesel increase mpg? ›Does DPF deletion increase MPG? One of the most popular reasons for doing a DPF delete is that it is supposed to increase fuel economy. However, this is not guaranteed that this outcome will happen. In some cases, people have reported an increase in fuel economy and mileage after using DPF delete kits.
Will off road diesel hurt my 6.7 Powerstroke? ›Yes, it's usually completely safe to run red diesel (off-road diesel) in a 6.7 Powerstroke. Red diesel is the same as regular highway diesel, apart from a red dye.
Is it worth deleting a diesel truck? ›Although a DPF delete could provide some advantages, there is an excellent reason for not deleting a diesel truck — it's illegal. According to EPA regulations, it's against the law to tamper with emissions equipment in any way, including performing a truck delete.
Does cold air intake do anything on 6.7 Powerstroke? ›The Sinister Diesel 2020-2022 Powerstroke 6.7L cold air intake (CAI) feeds your engine more air than the factory intake. Improved throttle response and turbo spool-up come from this cold air intake, enhancing performance in daily driving, towing and even racing applications!
Do deleted diesels run better? ›After a diesel delete is completed, the soot-clogging issues are eliminated. There may also be performance improvements such as an increase in torque/horsepower as well as an improvement in fuel economy. These positive changes can depend on the tuner, the after-market software, and the engine hardware.
What is the life expectancy of a 6.7 Powerstroke? ›
After years of production, the 6.7L Power Stroke has proven it can storm past the 200,000-mile mark with few repairs. Provided you adhere to Ford's recommended service intervals, there is no reason this engine won't see 300,000 or even 400,000 miles.
How to get the best fuel mileage out of a 6.7 Powerstroke? ›You want to keep your RPM gauge out of the red zone, which indicates that you're revving too hard. Keeping the needle lower on the gauge will translate into better fuel economy. If you need to speed up when you're driving, do it gradually. By pressing on the pedal slower, you can keep your RPM down.
What is the real mpg for 6.7 Powerstroke? ›Ford 6.7 Diesel mpg – 21. Ford 7.3 Gas mpg – 15.
How long does a regen last 6.7 Powerstroke? ›First, as a general rule of thumb, a forced DPF regen should last approximately 45 minutes.
How much does it cost to delete a 2017 6.7 Powerstroke? ›6.7PS can do some amazing things with a simple delete and factory service intervals - like drive over a million miles. Cost of a DPF/SCR/EGR delete is around $1500 with an EZ Lynk and 4" straight pipe. Cost of replacing factory emissions when parts go bad is north of $3000 and only goes up.
How much HP does a tuned 6.7 Powerstroke have? ›Untouched engine, no fuel system mods, aftermarket lift pump or turbo upgrade. Simply enjoy your 540hp/1,100 lb-ft tuning, which will be refined enough to drive like stock—allowing you to carry on with your day-to-day towing chores.
Does removing EGR increase power? ›When an EGR delete works properly, it increases the oxygen density in the engine. That means a boost in horsepower. However, it is essential to consider how much of an increase you get. Usually, it is minimal.
How do I get the most mpg out of my diesel? ›- Turn your engine off. ...
- Use shore power when you can. ...
- Avoid revving the engine. ...
- Find your engine's sweet spot and run with it. ...
- Use your air conditioner as sparingly as possible. ...
- Anticipate upcoming traffic lights. ...
- Maintain an extended following distance.
Prices range from around $550 for a base tuner to more than $3,000 for a complete performance kit with DPF delete, cold-air intake, stainless down pipe plus other items. The good news is there are many ways to increase the power and performance of diesel pickups without breaking the law.
Does a blocked DPF affect mpg? ›Reduced Fuel Economy
Your DPF filter is designed to conduct exhaust fumes out of the car's engine, so when it is blocked, these fumes cannot leave the engine as quickly. This stops the engine from working to its full capacity and will invariably reduce your fuel efficiency.
How do you turn red diesel clear? ›
One of the most common is to remove the red coloration from the diesel. In the UK, a diazo dye — Solvent Red 19, 24 or 26 — is used to colour the diesel. Fraudsters can remove the colour using an acid or alkali which renders the dye colourless, or by stripping the dye from the diesel using activated carbon.
Is it bad to run a diesel lean? ›Lean a lesson
This notion that 'no throttle' equals 'always running lean' is just insane. If you run a diesel engine too lean, temperatures spike and NOx emissions go through the roof.
Why is red diesel illegal? Red diesel is illegal for on-road vehicles because it's not taxed. Federal and state governments have strict standards in place about its use in on-road engines. Distributors and fuel retailers cannot knowingly supply on-road vehicles with this type of fuel.
Has anyone been fined for DPF delete? ›"Maximum court-imposed penalty for an individual is $22,000!" Is a DPF delete legal? Okay, so the $22,000 question: is it legal, and can you get fined for deleting the DPF? The short answer is, yes you can get fined, and no, it's not legal.
What are the cons of DPF delete? ›Perhaps the most critical disadvantage of removing DPF is the increase in soot and particulate matter volume in the air.
What states can you delete a diesel? ›No state allows. Altering emissions is illegal in all 50 states. Sell it privately.
How much HP does a cold air intake add to Powerstroke? ›Most cold air intakes will claim that they add an extra 15 HP.
Is cold air intake or exhaust better? ›If you've got a tight budget and care more about providing cooler air to your engine so it can breathe easier, go with an aftermarket cold air intake first. If your budget is less restrictive and you're more concerned with gaining extra power, aggressive sound and killer looks, install an exhaust system first.
Is a cold air intake worth it on a diesel? ›Are Cold Air Intakes Really Worth It? The short answer is yes. Even a “filter on a stick” will usually increase power. However, it is important to maximize your investment and make sure your intake increases overall performance and doesn't allow damaging dirt and debris into your engine.
What are the disadvantages of EGR delete? ›Disadvantages of EGR Delete
Some diesel vehicles can experience adverse effects like reduced horsepower, increased exhaust gas temperature and engine knocking.
Why do diesels idle better than gas? ›
Leaner Air-Fuel Ratio
Lean out the fuel and the engine runs cooler. Add fuel to the mix and combustion temps and exhaust gas temperature goes up. This is why diesels run a leaner air-fuel ratio than gas engines. In fact, some diesels utilize an air-fuel ratio as high as 90:1 or 100:1 at idle.
Consider Diesel Engine Heating Options
Because this puts the engine at a higher temperature, it will be easier to start and will require less time to warm up before driving.
In the 6.7 diesel engines, the pumps lack adequate lubrication and causes metal to rub against metal. Fragments then make their way into the injection systems and engine. Metal contamination can damage the fuel system, lines, injectors, and regulators.
What are the best years for Power Stroke? ›2008-2010 F-250 & F-350. If you're looking for the best example of how to make big plug-and-play horsepower, look no further than the 6.4L Power Stroke. With a programmer and free-flowing exhaust the '08-'10 trucks can produce 550 to 600 horsepower at the wheels and still tow just about anything you need them to.
What is considered high mileage for a Power Stroke? ›Like with the Duramax and Cummins engines, these engines can often last up to 500,000 miles. However, anything over 350,000 miles is usually considered high mileage for a Powerstroke engine.
How do you prevent CP4 failure on a 6.7 Powerstroke? ›What can I Do to Prevent CP4 Failure: A couple of things to note here, as I said before change your fuel filters every 10-15,000 miles with Ford Brand Filters. Install an EPA Compliant CP4 Disaster Kit (Highly recommend the one from S&S Diesel). This will save your injectors, lines & rails from contamination.
Does premium diesel increase mpg? ›Your engine is cleaner and runs more efficiently when all the engine components work together. A premium diesel can help make this happen by delivering more power and better fuel economy than a regular #2.
What does the throttle valve do on a 6.7 Powerstroke? ›With the stock EGR system in place, the stock Powerstroke throttle valve will open and close to adjust the ratio of fresh intake air to re-circulated exhaust gasses. When it's completely or partially closed, the engine draws the air needed through the EGR system.
Does banks derringer increase fuel economy on 6.7 Powerstroke? ›The Derringer does optimize the air fuel ratio compared to stock. The Derringer runs at 19:1 while stock runs at 18:1. If I drive my truck “normal” I have seen up to 2 miles per gallon (MPG) increase on Level 3. That improvement is seen driving in all types of situations including highway and city.
What is the mileage difference between 6.7 Powerstroke and 6.7 Cummins? ›Lastly, the Powerstroke has a mileage of 21/16 MPG for highway/city, while the Cummins has 20/14 MPG for highway/city. The engine of the Powerstroke produces 475 horsepower at 2,800 rpm, while the Cummins produces 370 horsepower at 2,800 rpm.
What is the MPG on a 2023 Ford f250 6.7 diesel? ›
Highway figures are around 14.6 mpg. Owner reports indicate that the standard diesel motor returns around 14 mpg combined, too.
What happens if you don't do a regen? ›Regeneration, or regen, of the DPF filter, is the process that burns the soot accumulation that is inside the DPF filter. If you can no longer start a regen then you will eventually get stuck in a derate which will then lead to an engine shut down.
How much does a forced regen cost? ›Generally, it is between $300-$700 depending on the technician's required diagnostic time and the length of time your DPF regeneration lasts. How can I do a forced regeneration?
How many times can a DPF be regenerated? ›How Often Does DPF Regeneration Occur? Active regeneration happens roughly every 300 miles and is triggered by your car's electronic control unit (ECU) once your soot level is approaching 40 to 45%. Passive regeneration should occur when you take your car on longer journeys at higher speeds.
Is it worth deleting 6.7 Power Stroke? ›Yes, it does. An EGR delete can be beneficial in many ways. However, one of the major ways it is great for your vehicle is that it improves the fuel economy, increases horsepower, and gives you better mileage. These are all benefits that arise from getting optimized engine performance.
Is it better to delete a diesel? ›Although a DPF delete could provide some advantages, there is an excellent reason for not deleting a diesel truck — it's illegal. According to EPA regulations, it's against the law to tamper with emissions equipment in any way, including performing a truck delete.
What are the perks of deleting a diesel? ›After a diesel delete is completed, the soot-clogging issues are eliminated. There may also be performance improvements such as an increase in torque/horsepower as well as an improvement in fuel economy. These positive changes can depend on the tuner, the after-market software, and the engine hardware.
What parts are needed to delete a diesel? ›A diesel delete involves taking out the DEF system, removing the catalytic converter and DPF, and installing a new exhaust. The vehicle's ECU (engine control unit) will also have to be reprogrammed using a tuner.
Can I delete my diesel myself? ›There is no way around this; it is 100% illegal to tamper with or modify the emission system on your truck in any way.
Can I delete my diesel truck myself? ›If you are thinking about deleting your truck, please reconsider. The main reason is that, first and foremost, it is highly illegal. Removing any emissions device on a diesel engine or adding a non-SMOG-compliant product carries a punishment of up to a $5,000 fine per unlawful part installed.
Can you get in trouble for deleting a diesel truck? ›
Are Truck Emission Deletes Legal? Although a DPF delete could provide some advantages, there is an excellent reason for not deleting a diesel truck — it's illegal. According to EPA regulations, it's against the law to tamper with emissions equipment in any way, including performing a truck delete.
What are the negatives for removing DPF? ›Perhaps the most critical disadvantage of removing DPF is the increase in soot and particulate matter volume in the air. Besides, you will be more likely to be fined for removing DPF based on the regulations that governments pass for climate control.
What are the disadvantages of DPF delete? ›- Legal consequences – fines, points on your license or even jail time.
- Reduction in overall horsepower.
- High Costs, similar to DPF/EGR installation.
- You will fail your MOT.
The DPF filter is designed to trap soot and other particulates that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere. -Drilling holes will cause the rest of the filter to plug up, and never allow it to regenerate. The airflow will go through the drilled holes but there will be soot that gets trapped by the filter.
How much does a diesel delete cost? ›Prices range from around $550 for a base tuner to more than $3,000 for a complete performance kit with DPF delete, cold-air intake, stainless down pipe plus other items. The good news is there are many ways to increase the power and performance of diesel pickups without breaking the law.
Are diesel tuners illegal? ›California residents who own diesel pickup trucks are required to pass a Smog Check inspection; diesel tuning products that are not covered under a CARB E.O. number are operating illegally and will result in an inspection failure. “At Banks, we have always provided 'Clean Tune' Technology.
Can I delete my DPF without deleting EGR? ›The EGR Valve should NOT be removed on vehicles that still have the DPF Filter in place, doing so may block the DPF as the EGR Valve operation is a prerequisite for DPF Regeneration.
Does leaving a diesel truck on waste fuel? ›Idling a heavy-duty truck consumes about 0.8 gallon of fuel per hour. Even when diesel costs as little as $2.50 a gallon, fuel for one 10-hour rest period will cost $20. Typically, a long-haul truck idles about 1,800 hours per year, using about 1,500 gallons of diesel.
What to do if you run out of diesel? ›- Normally adding 4–5 gal (15–19 L) of fuel is enough to restart the engine. If your vehicle is out of fuel and on a steep grade, more than 5 gal (19 L) may be required.
- You must purge trapped air from the system before restarting the engine.
