The airport is located in Changi, in the extreme east of Singapore, about 20 km from Marina Bay, the center of Singapore.

Getting to Singapore from Singapore Airport
Getting to Singapore from Changi Airport is easy as there are many transportation options available. Public transportation includes buses from Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4. To reach the city by train, take the train from Changi Airport MRT Station to Tanah Merah MRT Station (EW4), then hop off onto the East West Line toward Tuas Link MRT at station. Taxis can be hired from the taxi ranks in the arrivals areas of Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The journey into town takes approximately 30 minutes and costs between S$20 and S$40. All fares are metered. You can also rent a car from any car rental desk in the Arrivals Hall. A 24-hour airport shuttle offers convenient transfers from Changi Airport to your destination. Carpooling is also available.
