His response was that I could not get into the ANA system and had to go to the ANA counter to ask for this information since my stopover in Narita was only about 45 minutes before landing. When I went to the gate I felt uncomfortable not knowing whether or not I was going to take this flight. The Thai Airways representative at the boarding counter helped me a little and contacted a guide in Narita to help me get my luggage and get to the airport, gate right. I wanted to point out that we didn't make it to Narita in time due to heavy air traffic, so the plane had to circle for 15 minutes. When we finally landed, I had about 15 minutes to get through custom and run. I went to my door. When I received my ticket I was shocked to find that I had been given a middle seat on a 13 hour flight! If I had known this earlier I would have paid for a better seat, but since I was unable to check in online and was not given information about this flight before boarding, I was not allowed to transfer on this entire flight. Also, the plane ride was awful. The food was disgusting and the seating was very uncomfortable. The seat wouldn't even recline! I don't expect much from a short haul flight, but for a 13 hour flight I at least expect the seating to be a little better than sitting on a rock against a wall. All in all, this was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The stress and discomfort of being on a plane was an experience no one should experience when traveling. It was a horrific nightmare on an ANA flight. Advantages:“Before booking my flight with Singapore Airlines I took the time to read some reviews and to be honest the reviews from previous passengers don't do the airlines justice. I rarely, if ever, leave a review, but my flights (from SFO - Singapore and back) have been AMAZING. I was seated in economy class and the level of care we received. I could only imagine how great First Class could be. If only I could fly to Singapore on all of my international trips, I would.

Opposites:“The crew was not very friendly, they did their job but were not friendly to customers. It was like they were doing the bare minimum for the job/flight. For example when you get in and sit down, the first thing they give you is the menu and then the landing map. But I just sat down. I don't need those two extra pieces of paper right now. I was sitting in a hallway and I must have gotten 5 or 6 hits. by the cars. After I got hit, I heard, 'Sorry, the cars are arriving'."

Opposites:"I don't understand why flights don't board from the back to the front. The people in the back have to pass those in the front who are still in the aisles to get to their seats."

With a 13+ hour flight I was disappointed in the number of TV shows and movies I had access to I would still recommend EVA to friends and family with the caveat of bringing approved food and entertainment.

Nice bathrooms and I appreciated the toothbrush, earplugs and visors they had in the bathrooms!”
